Here and Gone Again

Horse-1

My mind is going a thousand miles right now! I have three sessions left to edit from about three weeks ago and I am at least halfway through each of them. I have been running, racing, and trying to get everything done in such a short period of time. If I don’t take a second to relax and enjoy the little things in my life for a moment, I think I just might have a nervous breakdown. My little boys need my time right now. My house needs to be cleaned. I need to be a better wife and mother at the same time. I LOVE to capture your  life through photography, but today… today is my time to capture my own life. I am going to take my two boys on a walk, hopefully take their photos (since its been a long long time), and make up for lost time with them. I have decided to limit my photography sessions from now on. It’s just way too much for me to handle. Please understand that I also have a life outside my photography business and if I don’t start focusing on it, I just know that one day I am going to look back on my life and realize there were SO MANY more important things that I missed out on! I promise to get caught up this weekend and have all my photos shipped out next week. Thanks for your understanding and patience. I am blessed to have such a wonderful life and I appreciate everyone supporting my business! Don’t get me wrong, I am still going to be scheduling sessions, I am just going to limit them.

With that said…

I am completely booked for August and I only have one session left for September. I will start booking sessions for October as soon as I figure out what my work schedule is. Please contact me if you would like to be added to the waiting list. I am only planning on doing about 3-4 sessions in the Utah/Juab County area. I will be able to schedule more for the Washington County area. If you are from the Utah/Juab county area and are willing to travel to Washington County for your session, I will be happy to give you a 25% discount. Thanks so much for your understanding!

Working on it…

Malaree - YAY! I LOVE the photo of Kaylee and her dog. She was SO stinkin’ excited when she saw it. Thanks Nat! I LOVE them so far :)

Rappleye Family | St. George Utah Family Photographer

Rap-Family-35I will be honest. I didn’t know what to expect going into this session. I knew it might be a little difficult to photograph their little girl, but I didn’t let that get to me. I looked at it as an opportunity and a pleasure. As a nurse, I deal with a lot of difficult situations and so I just took it as another day. I was excited that I was able to capture a few photos of her smiling and being herself. JaLee, I hope I was able to capture her in her element and as her true self. It was an honor to photograph your family…

Rap-Family-34By this time, the kids were worn out and sick of me saying, “Just one more” that nearly lead to an additional 50 or so pictures.
Rap-Family-37Thanks again guys! I hope you enjoy your pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them!

And the Winner is…

Rap-Family-30

Jerrica Cook! E-mail me so we can get you scheduled for a session! I randomly placed all the names in a bucket and my son picked the winner. You can thank him later! I thought it was appropriate to preview this photo tonight along with announcing the winner of the 16×24 print because this family is the deserving family who won the photography session from me off Becky Higgin’s blog. Their youngest child was recently diagnosed with autism. It was such a pleasure for me to take some family pictures for them. Check this blog often for more updates and giveaways. I kinda like to give free stuff away!

Stevens-Girls-6I was so excited to meet these two girls! I worked with their mom, Jeni, in Nephi at the hospital and I just love her to death! I was so excited to see her again and be able to take some pictures of her girls!
